This was a major undertaking by the owners to transform a derelict terrace into a modern home.

The front facade and side party walls were the only elements of the existing terrace retained. During demolition, there was extensive propping and underpinning required to maintain the integrity of these remnants.

New walls included both rendered brick and timber framed stud walls clad with CMX. Capral Aluminium Commercial sections were used on the windows, and Hawkesbury sections for the bi-fold doors.

Internal walls are of plasterboard with recycled Blackbutt to floors. Bathrooms included white ceramic tiles to walls, limestone to floors, and Corian as vanity tops and bath surrounds.

The modern kitchen includes a stainless steel bench top and Calacutta marble to the island bench, carefully chosen and matched to maintain the natural grain.
